We started with a big breakfast (bacon, eggs home fries, toast and coffee, lots of coffee) and then headed off to the laundromat. I managed to find the only dryer in the place that “recharged” the timer every time you opened and closed the door.
For some entertainment (other than working on our bikes) we visited the museum which had an exhibit, sponsored by the Swiss Consulate in Vancouver, on the role that the Swiss Guides played in the development of the area.
I especially liked the CP advertisement from the 1920s shown below, although Serge and Pierre-Alain did not quite share the same perspective... We'll see if their opinion changes once we hit Banff National Park.
